// HOW LONG A BUILD TAKES
Five working days,
counted from the brief.
By Friday builds a WordPress site in five working days or fewer. A landing page takes one to three working days, a multi-page site two to four, and a corporate site three to five. The count starts from your confirmed brief and the next free slot — not from the day you pay, and not from the first email. Every build goes to a staging link before it goes live.

// WHAT THE DAYS CONTAIN
Four steps,
none of them a call.
01 — You send the design
Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, PSD or PNG. A human at By Friday reads it the same working day: the desk is open Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00 CET, and anything sent after that is answered the next working morning.
02 — The price is fixed in writing
The calculator gives a preliminary estimate. After the brief is read, By Friday sends a fixed price in writing. If the build needs more work than the calculator assumed, the revised price arrives before anything is agreed — never after. If you do not agree, you pay nothing.
03 — The build runs
The clock starts here, at the confirmed brief and the next free slot. Stock Gutenberg plus four plugins By Friday writes and maintains — no page builder, no thirty-plugin stack, nothing to keep renewing.
04 — Staging, then live
Every build goes to a staging link first. Two consolidated rounds of comments on Landing and Multi-page, three on Corporate. You have two weeks to send the first round and one week for each round after it, counted from the staging link.
// WHY IT IS POSSIBLE
The tools are ours,
so the week is real.
Five days is not a rush job on a normal stack — it is an ordinary week on a stack built for it. Every By Friday site runs on the same four plugins, with 31 ready sections to pick from, and the same four built this page. One measured comparison, from one of our own demo builds against the same design assembled with a stock page builder:
4.8s → 1.1s
Largest Contentful Paint
0.21 → 0.02
Cumulative Layout Shift
1.4 MB → 180 KB
JavaScript shipped
One example, measured once. Every build ships Core Web Vitals above 90 — LCP under 2.5s, CLS under 0.1 — with the Lighthouse report in writing.
// WHAT MAKES IT SLOWER
The honest
list.
What holds a build up
A design still changing — the count starts at the confirmed brief, so a design that moves afterwards restarts part of it.
Content that is not written — we build what you send; placeholder copy has to be replaced before launch.
The slot — five working days run from the next free slot, not from the moment you ask.
The clock — work happens Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00 CET. A Friday evening brief starts on Monday.
What By Friday does not build in five days
Online stores — not yet. WooCommerce builds are coming later.
Custom back-end applications — these are sites, not software projects.
A design from scratch — By Friday builds the design you send. There is no design phase in the five days.
// FAQ
About the
five days.
When does the five-day count actually start?
When does the five-day count actually start?
At the confirmed brief and the next free slot — not at payment. A brief confirmed on a Monday morning, with a slot open, is a landing live by Wednesday and a corporate site live by Friday.
Do the five days include the revision rounds?
Do the five days include the revision rounds?
No. The build reaches a staging link inside the five working days. The comment rounds run after that, on your clock: two weeks for the first round and one week for each round after it, counted from the staging link.
What happens if By Friday misses the deadline?
What happens if By Friday misses the deadline?
The date is fixed in writing along with the price, before the build starts. If the design you sent is not matched, it is fixed at no cost; if it still cannot be matched, the money is refunded in full and you keep all the files. You have 14 days from handover to say so.
Is anything faster than five working days?
Is anything faster than five working days?
A landing page is often live in one. Of the four demo builds on the home page — an aesthetics clinic, a home-services firm, a dental clinic and a law firm — none took the full five working days.
Are there calls?
Are there calls?
None, ever. Telegram, email and Loom. No discovery call, no kick-off, no status sync — which is most of where the other weeks go.
